Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how StoresWiki LLC, Via Giuseppe Mazzini 4, Belpasso, 95032, CT, Italia (the “Provider”, “we”), as data controller, collects and processes personal data when you use the VPS Cloud service. We are based in the European Union and process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data we collect
- Account data: your name, email address and password (stored only as a salted hash).
- Billing data: subscription and payment status. Card details are handled directly by our payment processor (Stripe) — we do not store full card numbers. For offline payments we store the transaction reference and method you provide.
- Service data: the servers you create, their plan, operating system, hostname, network allocation, resource and bandwidth usage, and lifecycle events.
- Technical data: IP address, browser/user-agent, and log entries generated when you use the control panel or connect to the browser console.
- Support data: the content of messages you send us.
We do not routinely access the contents of your server. We may access it only where strictly necessary to investigate an abuse report, comply with a lawful order, or restore service, and we log such access.

3. Sharing and processors
We share personal data only with service providers acting on our instructions, including:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Our email relay provider — sending transactional and security emails.
- Our DNS/CDN provider — DNS records for your servers.
- Our infrastructure and backup providers — hosting the platform.
We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights and other customers.
4. International transfers
Data is primarily processed within the EU. Where a processor transfers data outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Retention
- Account and service data: for the life of your account and then as needed for legal/accounting purposes.
- Invoices and tax records: as required by applicable law (generally up to 10 years in Italy).
- Server data after termination: retained for a short window (see the deletion timeline in our Terms) then permanently deleted.
- Logs: retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You may withdraw consent for marketing at any time. To exercise any right, email support@storeswiki.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
7. Cookies
The control panel uses only essential cookies needed to keep you logged in and to secure the session. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies in the panel. Because only strictly necessary cookies are used, no consent banner is required for them.
8. Security
We protect data with encryption in transit (TLS), encryption of sensitive stored secrets (such as server root passwords), network isolation between customer servers and the management plane, restricted administrative access, and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable and appropriate measures.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be notified by email or in the panel. The “last updated” date below reflects the current version.
